Now Accepting Applications: The John A. McDougall Clinical Fellowship
The TrueNorth Health Foundation, in collaboration with the McDougall Foundation, is pleased to announce the John A. McDougall Clinical Fellowship — an immersive, post-graduate training opportunity for healthcare professionals to train in prolonged water-only fasting supervision and whole-plant-food nutrition therapy at the TrueNorth Health Center. Fellows will also gain hands-on experience in patient-centered research, developing practical skills that prepare them to critically evaluate scientific evidence and integrate nutritional medicine into their own clinical practice.
Program Highlights
• Supervise patients through all stages of inpatient fasting and refeeding
• Obtain fasting certification through the IAHP
• Implement whole-plant-food, SOS-free nutrition therapy in real-world settings
• Contribute to ongoing clinical research at the TrueNorth Health Foundation
• Learn through lectures, grand rounds, case discussions, and mentorship
• Engage in the McDougall 12-week online program in evidence-based nutrition
• Receive a stipend, on-site housing, and exclusively whole-plant-food, SOS-free meals
Eligibility
Graduated healthcare professionals (MD, DO, ND, PA, FNP, or equivalent).
Length
Six-month initial training period, with potential to extend
