Now Accepting Applications: The John A. McDougall Clinical Fellowship

The TrueNorth Health Foundation, in collaboration with the McDougall Foundation, is pleased to announce the John A. McDougall Clinical Fellowship — an immersive, post-graduate training opportunity for healthcare professionals to train in prolonged water-only fasting supervision and whole-plant-food nutrition therapy at the TrueNorth Health Center. Fellows will also gain hands-on experience in patient-centered research, developing practical skills that prepare them to critically evaluate scientific evidence and integrate nutritional medicine into their own clinical practice.

Program Highlights
Supervise patients through all stages of inpatient fasting and refeeding
Obtain fasting certification through the IAHP 
Implement whole-plant-food, SOS-free nutrition therapy in real-world settings
Contribute to ongoing clinical research at the TrueNorth Health Foundation
Learn through lectures, grand rounds, case discussions, and mentorship
Engage in the McDougall 12-week online program in evidence-based nutrition
Receive a stipend, on-site housing, and exclusively whole-plant-food, SOS-free meals

Eligibility
Graduated healthcare professionals (MD, DO, ND, PA, FNP, or equivalent).

Length
Six-month initial training period, with potential to extend
